All our speakers are event-ready. Choosing the right system depends on your audience size and space.
50–100 people
dB Technologies Opera Live 405 or RCF ART 322-A are ideal for medium indoor venues and small outdoor areas.
150–500 people
For larger events, we recommend our higher-power speaker systems paired with subwoofers to deliver clean, consistent sound.
For detailed specifications and additional options, visit our PA Speakers category or contact us for guidance on the right setup.
Note: If you see different options when selecting equipment, this usually refers to the number of speaker pairs available. Since stereo sound requires two speakers, they are typically provided in pairs unless otherwise specified. If you need a specific configuration or have any questions, feel free to reach out to us for clarification.
All equipment collection and returns are strictly by appointment to ensure a smooth and efficient experience. Our workshop operates from a residential property, and we are not a storefront, so please do not visit without prior confirmation of your booking.
When you arrive at the scheduled time, you can park your car in front of the property, and one of our team members will bring the rental equipment directly to your vehicle for convenience and safety. The same process applies when returning items, simply park out front, and we will collect the equipment from your car. This approach allows us to provide personalised service while respecting the residential setting of our workspace.
Yes. Free delivery is available on selected packages within a 10 km driving distance from our storage location in Brunswick West.
Distance is calculated based on actual road distance, not a straight-line radius.
If the driving distance exceeds 10 km — even slightly — standard delivery charges will apply.
Free delivery procedure
When free delivery applies, it includes:
• Drop-off of the equipment at the specified address
• Collection of the equipment after use
Free delivery does not include setup or dismantling unless this service is requested separately.
Important notes
• Drop-off and pick-up
Our delivery team will meet you at the door for both drop-off and collection.
• Setup and dismantling
If you require setup, configuration, or dismantling of equipment, this will be charged as an additional service based on the size and type of equipment.
• Exclusions
Free delivery does not apply during:
• Peak traffic hours (3:00 pm – 6:00 pm)
• Public holidays and long weekends
• New Year’s period
During these times, standard delivery rates apply regardless of distance.
A 30% surcharge applies to delivery rates during the New Year’s period.
Please present a valid Australian Driver’s Licence and a debit or credit card for identification when collecting equipment or receiving a delivery. Without these, we are unable to release the equipment.
In some cases, additional information may be required. This usually applies to bookings where the total equipment value exceeds $2,000. If the requested information is not provided, the equipment cannot be released.
You can add a range of optional equipment to customise your setup, including:
• Subwoofers
• Petrol generators
• Projectors and screens
• Strobe lights
• UV lights
• Lasers
• Smoke machines
• Disco lights
• Moving head lights
And more. If you have specific requirements, just let us know and we’ll help you build the right setup.
All equipment is fully tested before leaving our premises. If a speaker stops working after it has been tested and collected or delivered in working condition, responsibility rests with the customer.
Our team will always provide guidance on correct use, power requirements, and setup to help prevent issues. If you’re unsure about anything, we strongly encourage you to ask before or during the hire.
Thermal overload occurs when a speaker overheats due to being driven at excessive volume for an extended period. When this happens, the speaker may temporarily mute or reduce output to protect itself.
To avoid thermal overload, monitor the red limit or clip indicator on the speaker. If it begins to flash, reduce the volume slightly.
For larger events, we recommend using additional speakers and/or subwoofers to achieve the desired volume without stressing the system.
Yes. Smoke machines can significantly enhance the visual experience by making light beams more visible.
They use water-based fluid, which is generally safe when used correctly. However, always check with your venue beforehand, as smoke machines may trigger smoke or fire alarms depending on the system in place.
